We give you confidence to either proceed or ask the right questions to ensure your position is protected. Our lawyers carry out detailed reviews and provide commentary in lay terminology as annotations within the document. You can choose what to do with this advice: ask us to amend the document, request negotiation strategy advice, or use our comments to bolster your negotiation position.

Yes, we take confidentiality very seriously and are bound to keep all dealings with you confidential. Your documents are protected by strict confidentiality and privilege.

How long does a review of your Commercial / Residential Lease Agreement take?

Accepted Answer

Our reviews take 2 working days, unless you order the Express Delivery option. The Express Delivery option needs to be ordered before 1PM SGT in order for it to be delivered before midnight on the same day, otherwise it will be delivered the following day before 5PM.

What if my contract has already been signed and I am looking to get an opinion on my legal position?

If your contract has already been signed, and you are looking to get guidance on a specific situation that has arisen, you can still use this review service in the same manner. In the additional information field during checkout, please insert the specific points that you are looking to have the guidance center around.

What if it transpires that my Commercial / Residential Lease Agreement needs to be fundamentally amended after the review?

Accepted Answer

Our review service is designed to identify issues and concerns within the document or contract. In the event of amendments being required, once the review is provided to you, we would then provide you with a quotation to attend to the amendments on your behalf. Whether you proceed with such amendments is obviously at your discretion. You can also select 'One Hour of Amendments' during checkout to have amendments included upfront.

Will I know who my lawyer is?

Yes, your lawyer will be in direct contact with you via email when delivering the review to you.

Can I ask clarifying questions to my attorney about the review?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may ask any follow-up clarifying questions to your lawyer via email, who will answer the questions at no additional cost. You also have the option, as an optional extra, to schedule a 20-minute consultation with your lawyer if you would like to clarify any questions during an online consultation.

What if I would like AirCounsel to assist with contract negotiations?

Accepted Answer

Once your contract has been reviewed, it may be necessary to negotiate amendments with the other party/ies to the contract. This might take the form of amendments being effected to the contract itself by our lawyers, email correspondence being sent by us to the other party/ies with our proposed amendments, or a call/online meeting with the other party/ies to discuss and negotiate. You can select 'Contract Negotiation Support' during checkout, or once reviewed and if necessary, we will provide you with a quote to attend to the negotiations.

Does the review also include amendments being made to the contract?

Accepted Answer

Our reviews entail pointing out issues and concerns, and as such, do not ordinarily include actual amendments being made to the contract or document, which amendments are normally quoted for separately. However, you can order an hour of amendments as an optional extra during the checkout process.

How do you measure page length?

Accepted Answer

Page length is measured in Tahoma font, size 11, 1.5 line spacing. If you are uncertain how to do this, feel free to send the agreement via live chat or email for us to measure it for you.

What if I am uncertain how to measure the length of my contract or document?

Accepted Answer

No issue. Upload the contract as is and select the page tier that you think is correct. Once the order is received, we will then measure it in our measuring font. Should it measure much longer than the tier ordered, we will simply revert to you with the shortfall payment link in order for you to make a payment corresponding with the correct page length tier.

Do you get to consult with the lawyer after the review?

Accepted Answer

If you select the optional extra of an online consult with your lawyer, you will have access to a 20 minute online consultation with your attorney to discuss the review once it has been conducted and clarify any questions you may have. Follow-up questions by email are also included at no extra charge.

Are our lawyers registered and regulated?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our lawyers are registered with the Law Society of Singapore.

How many years of experience will my lawyer have?

Accepted Answer

Your lawyer will have no less than 10 years' practicing experience.

By what time do I need to order the Express Delivery service to ensure delivery on the same day?

Accepted Answer

To receive your review on the same day before midnight, you will need to order the Express Delivery before 1PM SGT. Express Delivery orders made after 1PM SGT will be delivered during the next business day, prior to 5PM.
